Surely the map must give some clue as to the exact whereabouts…

Nice Valentine heart, Marg! (Everyone…best not to compliment her on her avatars. It only encourages her. ;-) )

love that heart! that heart is sooo cool! notice how how sharp it is, sorta poetic…how a heart can wound you or impale you.. yes that heart is so good , it is more of a poem than the 1st rate superb illustration it appears to be

Complain about her avatars? Why would I complain? Marg’s avatars are creative and wonderful. I like her idea of changing with the seasons and holidays, and she usually comes up with ones that are either unusual enough to be eye-catching or visually stunning.

margueritem, I’m going to heartily endorse that “heart” avatar too, it seems to express yout personality so well. As it peeps through to others who can’t help but appreciate it.

You should use it more often ;)

What seems missing in all this is Grimm’s reaction. As I recall he has a radio opinion program (a comic strip Rush Limbaugh type)

The News and location of the disaster are fairly widespred. Thought we might have been seen him commenting on his program and also contacting Warbucks.

Done properly, the map won’t give you a clue as to where to look unless you already know the rough location, Margueritem, and don’t call me “Shirley!”

Simple: they knew roughly what part of New Mexico it was in, but not exactly where. Once they had the map, it was a simple matter of matching the landmarks.
