Baldo: Dad, how can you say this shirt is 'cool'? It's not! Baldo: The concept of 'cool' has been repeatedly bought by corporate marketers and sold back to us until it's meaningless! Dad: Sounds like you've been reading, son! Dad: That's pretty cool!

Cool is still operative as far as I’m concerned.

Schmooze, REALLY?! Did he like write a memoir or something? Cuz I’d LOVE to read that!
I’ve often thought that the best stories Hollywood could ever produce are about the lives of real people. Some people I’ve met or read about have much more interesting lives than any fantasy we could design. (I’ve often thought my grandmother’s life would make an interesting movie.)

I have few Hawaiian shirts in my closet. But these shirts I had were not from Hawaiian. Oh bummer! I wish I could buy Hawaiian shirt from Hawaii before.

I saw a guy in Wal-Mart today in an Hawaiian shirt. He had a white long-sleeved t-shirt underneath it. I guess it IS possible to wear one in the winter.

cutiepie29 - In regards to your comment yesterday… I understand what you mean completely! My sons are 20 & 17, and I’m in the final year of homeschooling, so I’ve been way too busy to sew much for years. I’m hoping I’ll have some time to pick up sewing again sometime in the not-too-distant future. I was so thankful Mom was willing to do my sewing for me, and glad she taught me how when I was a girl. She just passed away this fall, but due to strokes, she couldn’t sew for about 3 years before her death. .
