Yes, when I needed a replacement for “Preteena” I thought this might be one. Instead, I had to settle for “Cul De Sac”. “Boomerangs” should be a daily strip! Doesn’t the cartoonist ever respond to our comments?
Hi everybody, I want to thank everyone for the positive comments. So far everybody’s been really enthusiastic and encouraging about Boomerangs, and that has kept me excited about where the strip can and will go next. The question that everyone seems to be asking is “why just once a week?” Well, the truth is that I’m stretched thin right now between my comic stip, my 9 to 5 day job, and free lance book illustrating. Also, it’s important to me to keep the quality of the strip’s writing and art as high as I can, and at this point I would rather do one strip a week that I’m really proud of than do three or four that I feel I rushed and didn’t develop fully. I’m hoping that my schedule will open up soon and I’ll be able to do more per week, so stay tuned. Thanks for the support! -Jack
