Adam: did you meet the mysterious new kid who moved in down the street? Clayton: Sorta. Turns out it wasn't a kid, just a short lady. Clayton: She said her kids were all grown. Katy: And she didn't have a pony. Clayton: She has an orange striped cat. Katy: But no pony. Clayton: She invited us all over for cake. Katy: I know. Let's bring her a pony for a housewarming gift!

She seems to be totally obsessed. Is there a pill for that? ;-)

New on here. Has Bassett sold this strip or what? I sure don’t like the new guys copies. Lame humor too. Sad.

Good one, fishnutz.

I liked Bassett’s work, but I think this new guy is funny too.
I think Adam should get Katy some horse-riding lessons - that can be one of the fastest ways to discourage a kid who think she likes horses. Or encourage someone who really does like them. Horses can be very intimidating up close, and as a person who’s fallen off a couple of times, that can be discouraging too.
