Smoking is a choice, whereas BO or bad breath generally isn’t. One would certainly hope that a smoker is aware that he or she is smoking, whereas a person may not be aware that he or she has BO or bad breath. And of the three, I’d least like to be around a smoker – I’ve never had the scent of somebody else’s BO or breath cling to me or my clothes, but many a time I’ve gone home absolutely reeking of cigarette smoke despite never having taken a puff in my life. So if you’re going to smoke around a non-smoker, feel free, just don’t exhale.
That design already exists! It is the nicotine inhaler which may be chosen as a cigarette look-alike for those who want a close substitute. The glow and the ash is still not available…

I like that method a lot. I might just use it on those people who just can’t take a hint when you’re hacking to death next to them…
