Man: Captain Victorious!! I come from the future with an urgent message!! Captain Victorious: Ulk- the future? Who are you? Man: I'm the Captain Victorious of the 30th Century and I must warn you! Mr. Negato has broken out of jail and has constructed a giant ice cannon that will destroy the city in mere moments unless you stop it!! Captain Victorious: Wait, you're warning me ten minutes before he destroys the city? Man: Well, yes... Captain Victorious: What's with the short notice? You've got a time machine! Why not give me an hour? A day? Stop him from making the thing in the first place? Man: I don't know. I guess I thought it was gonna be more exciting this way... Captain Victorious: Yeah, but now I've wasted a hot dog! I mean, was it really worth it? Man: Y'know, I'm going back in time and warning myself not to have this conversation...

It is the only way not to cause a conflict. If 30th Century Captain Victorious stopped Mr Negato from building the machine he would than have no reason to go back in time. The only way to stop that conflict is to show up ten minutes before destruction.

Nomatter what if he stops negato there is no reason to go back in time. Doesn’t matter when he is warned.
