It’s true. I never failed to make a good impression by cooking dinner for a date. I was lucky in this, because my wife wasn’t a very good cook, so I did all the kitchen witchery.
My husband can’t cook. He does do everything else, and plays a mean guitar. But he stays away from my pots. He once was so involved in his guitar playing that he melted a kettle to the element. It’s a wonder the house didn’t burn down.
