Most of the time when a Robin leaves it’s because they move on to solo work.
Dick went on to become Nightwing,
Jason was killed, revived later and became Red Hood.
Tim joined the Teen Titans early and dropped the Robin moniker, becoming Red Robin.
Stephanie Brown was “killed” but revealed later to have survived and became Batgirl.
And now Damian Wayne, current Robin.

Let’s not forget Carrie Kelley, the Robin from “The Dark Knight Returns.” Even she stopped being Robin and became Catgirl.

Hard time keeping those kids alive? Batman has had many Robins but thanks to later writers all the Robins who died (only two of five) were either brought back to life or revealed to have faked their own death.

These kids aren’t dying, they are growing up. Robin isn’t so much Batman’s sidekick as he is his apprentice.
