Oh dear. One of the most popular stores in my home town is the Mexican bakery, they let everyone in.

Living in So Flo, I can tell you, we’re so intermingled, you can’t really tell who’s who anymore. So, no problems there! (I’m caucasian, but I <3 flan!)

Was that a racist statement? Of course he is a doofus, he is white. What if the exact statement was said about a black, Indian, middle eastern, Asian or Muslim? The NAACP, every African American and the ACLU would be all over it. Plus every liberal out their would have a fit. I guess it is a double standard.

Gringo means “foreign” Mmmm, what’s about their native languages? Should the foreigners learn how to speak English before they come to US and versa vice we the Americans should learn their native languages before we go to Europe, Asia and other continents? I don’t speak the native languages. I use my American Sign Language for the communication.

Freebird77 comes down on fbjsr for stating what he sees in the strip, and TapiocaHead screams White Power, and you look over that. This strip isn’t racist at all. Just enjoy and laugh. Does everything has to end in race?

Hookedoncomics is right. Just enjoy it. It’s making fun of people’s misperceptions. What’s wrong with that? I’m white and I thought it was hillarious, but mostly because I’ve known guys like Billy.

I’ve always held this comic in the highest standard because it was head and shouders better than most. I hope they don’t take the low road.

New here, but I don’t think Latino only, I think Latino food products like mole, quacamole, etc, the GOOD stuff, not Wal-Mart specials

I did not respond to tapioca head due to his picture is of a black man. So, I am assuming he is African American and was just using sarcasm when he stated white power.

Ohh freebird .. you are too smart… btw, “gringo” is a disparaging term to Americans, specifically white Americans ….
