I dunno – just watched my Blu-Ray of The Pink Panther (original only, please, no sequels or remakes), complete with romance (Claudia Cardinale on a tiger-skin rug; rrawr!), comedy, and one of the best chase scenes ever!

A nice nod to “Iron Giant” – a very underrated movie!

Babette’s feast. I cry every time I watch it. No violence, no swearing, no action, no explosion… Just people. My second best is Star Wars. Go figure.

Yet: who can forget the great classic, “Nymphomanical Wenches From Dinosaur Hell” (a Troma production).

It’s part of the Coleman Francis Trilogy as presented by Mystery Science Theater 3000. The other are ‘Skydivers’ and ‘Red Zone Cuba’. Fun to watch if you have the MST3K dvds. Otherwise not so much.

“Forbidden Planet” (1956) with Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, and Leslie Nielsen is one of my all-time favorite sci-fi “horror” movies. Great special effects for such an old film. :-)

NOW you’re talking. Cool Hand Luke is a REAL movie – one of the all-time best!! Beast of Yucca Flats and Teenagers from Outer Space, Robot Monster, Plan 9 and such are so crappy they’re good!

If you liked “Plan 9” then try “Zombies of the Stratosphere”; it’s considered to be the worst serial ever made. Incidentally, it’s also the first screen appearance of a young Martian – Leonard Nimoy…
