Pets just seem to know when their owners need a pick me up.

Agree; but pet “companions” live longer still. I don’t understand why, but having both a cat and a dog, around make me younger, and they do seem to know when I need attention. Generally around food time ;)

I can leave the house and be gone for 5 minutes, when I walk thru the door my Westie greets me as if I’d been gone for days!

I got home from town and my dog Penny was so excited that she tried running in fast little circles. Finding that hardwood floors were too slippery, she moved to the dining room rug and entry mat so that she could display her enthusiasm.

Author signing day in the future – Here, autograph my reader, please.(taking place in an Apple store) Author reading a segment day in the future – Anyone have a spare battery charger? I have an electronic mag subscription (tech), and you know what? I don’t peruse ‘old’ copies like I used to when they were glossy paper on my shelf. Just sayin.

I’ll take Jenna’s place Laura. If we add to the bookstore and make it an internet cafe we should be fine.

Please show me some studies that prove this. I did a short search and found lots of articles that say this but could find no actual studies. I did find this however,http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2011/08/03/study-questions-if-pet-owners-are-healthier-and-happier/. I know this may be hard for you animal lovers to understand this but there are those of us who do not like animals and for us owning a pet would shorten out lives.

Was without a dog about a year and hated it. Fortunately, a stray showed up at my neighbor’s and she (the dog) is now a much-loved family member.
