Just tell the panel that you believe that the defendant is innocent until proven guilty, you are pro death penalty and believe in jury nullification. No lawyer on either side will want you.
I had lawyers and police officers for friends, had worked in the Probation dept, had done Child Protection Services, had been attacked on the streets (while on the job), and I still got picked for a murder trial and a child molestation trial. Not only that, but they had rejected over 100 people before me for answering “yes” to many of those same questions. Go figure.
Friend of mine was once in a pool for a court-martial. Wanting to get out and knowing about peremptory challenges, where an attorney can have a potential juror tossed without question or argument from the other side, during a recess he leaned against the courtroom wall within earshot of the defense counsel and muttered in a sort of stage whisper, “I hope they fry the bastard.” As soon as the session resumed, the defense counsel had my friend tossed using one of his peremptory challenges.

My father was a police officer. One brother in law is an attourney. I have friends in law enforcement. No defence attourney wants me on the jury.

When asked trick questions in the voir dire, just cite the law. You will be rejected every time.
