Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!! (Canadian Thanksgiving is in October…because our harvest is earlier. And no, we haven’t been doing our Christmas shopping since then, although some of the stores seem to have had their Christmas decorations that long.)
As a way to further secularize the holidays, there is a proposal before congress to change “Thanksgiving” to “Eating Contest.” I’m thankful there seems to be less than the needed support…
