Mushy Monday Hugs ((((((( CAPPERS ! )))))))I know everyone is getting ready for ghosts, goblins, and witches etc so Happy Halloween! You gotta try this at least once!http://www.pyzam.com/tictactoe
@ QuartermainVery Happy Belated Birthday. I apologise for overlooking your day yesterday. I can only blame my new grandmother hormones (and meeting the new nanny yesterday-she seems ok, but we will be watching the nanny cams closely!)Any way you old sea dog, I hope you had an excellent day!(my late hubby was Navy too)

Re your roast….have you ever tried shaving your carrots (with a potato peeler) then putting them at the bottom of the oven in a covered dish with some orange juice?>br>I do that at times, especially with a pork roast and I also do that with yams or sweet potatoes…You must be an excellent cook! You wife is a lucky lady indeed. :-}
a (not so) mysterious stranger dropped off a huge platter of roast beef sandwiches, loaded with homegrown tomatoes and crisp lettuce and there are bowls of spicy mustard, miracle whip, mayo, and a plate of various cheeses…oh, I didnt see it at first but there is also a plate of chicken sandwiches, and another of egg salad. I presume for the non meat eaters. I hope they can eat it anyway…Enjoy!
Gweedo, that picture of the baby you used yesterday in returning my hug, was absolutely precious…Thank You!last note: Prayers are being said for those from Delaware north, that they are safe and dry and will remain so!SUSAN N., et al, please let us know how you are doing.
I have just discovered the absolutely worst musical? instrument in the world (or anyplace else), It makes bagpipes sound like concert violins. It is called a Hurdy Gurdy. If you have the nerve (or stomach) for it. Here is a link.LINKPlease don’t hate me.

After that beautiful “Mull of Intyre”, I watched the first and last appearance of The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show. I almost fainted. I’d forgotten Beatlemania. Sigh! Those were the days.
