2 dogs and a cat adopted last summer…best additions ever :)

2 dogs 4 years ago from our local pound 1 from cl and a street rescue. now later today we will begin fostering 2 dogs for new homes. or if really lucky return to their first home

We adopt old dogs; they are typically abandoned by an owner being forced to move to smaller quarters, owner passing away, etc. They are usually very willing to abide by house rules, and they are so appreciative of the attention, affection, and security for their last years. We are down to three now (12, 13, and 13 yrs old), having lost our old Beagle mix earlier this year.

That one brought tears to my eyes.

This has nothing to do with the strip.

I have 3 adopted rescued kittahs who are zen philosophers in their spare time. Besides the company and visual grace, they remind me of the important things in life – good food, naps, exercise, and friends.

2 cats, 1 dog, and 11 lizards. No one ever thinks of adopting reptiles, but they get abandoned, too.
