In Mexico we are not worried about the Twinkies because we have the Submarinos. It’s a knockoff version of the Twinkies like the Mejorales, which is a knockoff version of the aspirins. Thank god to patent infringement.
Coming soon to a convenience store near you: Philadelphia’s very own Tasty-Kakes. They’re already moving into the Boston area, to the joy of ex-pat Philadelphians.
(Tasty had their own union problems and got bought by some Southern company which immediately started injecting creme into all the cake products. They stopped after sales plummeted. Try the Tasty-Pies. Yummmm!)
