No, that’s how it actually happens. And I’m glad to know I’m not the only one that happened to!! I got a button back on a pair of pants for my hubby – 3 years after he gave them to me – he said it was nice to have ‘new’ pants twice.

Being the thrifty sort, I always mended right away to get use out of items I had paid good money for. Thrifty, being the polite word for it.
