    Very true. To be fair, even with an e-reader, you can get all that stuff free from the library (well, at least the books that the library has in that format). And you can do it fairly instantly without leaving home. Very convenient if you’re sick or physically impaired.

    How about free on the printed page? Still nothing like reading a good book. I do have a kindle, though, and while i can’t put even one hardcover book inmy coat pocket, with the kindle I can carry around a thousand of them.
