The first TV ad ever done was for the Veg-O-Matic. The guy cut his finger and bled all over the place, but reception was so poor that no one could see it and they solf 5000 the next week. Now they can sell us anything, from cars to candidates,

I loved the pocket fisherman….. that being said, have you ever noticed how amazing that stuff seems when you’re an insomniac and it’s 3AM? Spray on hair? Wow!

Anyone remember the Salad Master pots and pans commercials from the 50’s & early 60’s? I’m still using a set I bought in 1966.

I don’t watch those shopping channels. I ignore the ones that don’t go that route. These days it’s surprising these shows are still on air given the current economy.
