    I’d go with the first; the second one looks like it has a typo. More importantly, the first is WHY Christmas is celebrated.

    The real reason is that in the Northern Hemisphere we are approaching the shortest, darkest, most depressing day of the year and we need a celebration of light and good cheer regardless of what religion claims the seasonal holiday. For me the Christ in Christmas means as little as the Thor in Thursday.

    Actually, I believe it’s the 23.5 degrees tilt of the earth’s axis (away from perpendicular to the ecliptic) that’s the reason for the season.

    Go with the first one, Zack! Although, it was Constantine who made December 25 Christmas. Jesus was likely born in April.
