Mark Trail – Mark will save Otto and be the hero.Judge Parker – Cheating the bride’s mother out of planning a wedding? My take on that is ppffffttttt!We have two historic revisits happening in the comics right now. Barney Google is making an appearance in Snuffy Smith, and Phil Fumble is visiting Fritzi Ritz in Nancy.
PHANTOM: Down, Kitty!FUNKY W: Crazy seems to have a complicated method of sorting his books. Mine is more simplistic, with “3 piles”: 1) books I want to keep, 2) books with enough value to sell, and 3) books to donate (all the books not in piles 1 or 2). I type or scan the ISBN numbers into Amazon to determine which ones are worth enough to go into pile #2. MARY WORTH: I’ll repeat my late post from yesterday: I think Jim wants her to use Ilsa’s line, “I wish I didn’t love you so much.” And, I don’t think that’s going to happen. (see my first post yesterday for the “Here’s looking at you, kid.” Casablanca dialog).
REX MORGAN: Of course it doesn’t need to be said that the “three ’P’s”: Potato chips, pizza and [whatever] is not the kind of food that will help battle any illness.
MARY WORTH: Normally a statement like this, plus the body language would segue into a deep embrace, but in this case it ain’t gonna happen.
APT3G: Greg is still not thinking along the path that will get him to solve Evan’s deviousness.
Rex – June looks properly horrified at this diet. Bring on the fruits and veggies.JP – Katharine is Randy’s stepmother. April’s family hasn’t been mentioned. Sam thought he and Abby would be involved in wedding planning too.A3G – If Greg decides he is really attracted to Margo, it will motivate him more to find out what’s going on. But he knows enough already to justify his suspicions and I wish he would have shared that wih Ari.Mary Worth – I hope Jim has been listening to Dawn’s messages.Phantom and Mandrake are both fantasies, but Phantom’s feats seem possible while Mandrake’s hypnotic gestures seem completely unbelievable.
FUNKY W: I’m reading these DC “New 52” comics courtesy of my library which has the collected 5-6 comics together in a “graphic novel” sized hardcover book for each character.
Marvee: from yesterday – I read the classic Mandrake and Phantom at DailyInk.com. It is a subscription service, but less than $20 per year, so I can afford it. (The ship you describe went on to “Magnetic Island” where Mandrake & friends adventured with the nasty “king” of the island.)
REX- Delores "3P"’s They all are good w/beer too- at her young age, eating those types of food is a great sign that she is recovering back to normal. Hope they invite her to the party.That would be great mind healing/physical push being with friends and living life outside her dark room/ and depression
3G- Greg is not only a “user”, but a TWO FACED b*#%&r !!!!!!
MW- WOW-Jim’s infactuated/ falling in love to fast- but Dawn looks happy- soooooooooooo- wait and see. (Ilove how this strip is going)
JP- Why does Randy and April have to play to other people’swishes- H%*L, their two mature adults, as least respect theirlives/wants, as what would make them happy on this important occasion in their life!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( same as I have done w/ my two sons)
