Here’s the story behind yesterday’s and today’s strips.
With all the projects I’ve been juggling, I lost track of days this week. When I did Saturday’s strip, I thought I was doing Friday’s and needed one more “filler” day before I got to the punchline. I didn’t realize my mistake until after it had been published.
Today’s is an elongated version of what was supposed to be Saturday’s strip, finishing out the week’s plot.

The first frame after the title is particularly apropos.
