Problem is – current history being distorted by media, history of our country being changed and deleted by special interest groups, morals, ethics and common sense being eliminated to political correctness, ACLU and Atheistic views, laws being ignored by government, no child left behind even ifhe is unprepared to advance, No wonder our schools and younger generation are lagging and failing to compete in today’s job market. We have stopped TEACHING the basics, and self responsibility in favor of expediency and self indulgence.
Sadly, this is more realistic than the comic may point towards. No, not the state of the schools, but that employers look at a degree only as the fact that you can be taught… then they want you to follow the way that they want you to do it, not the way you learned it in school. Rather a waste of 4 years and untold thousands of dollars to be told to forget what you learned. :-(
All one has to do is watch Jay Leno go out into the blvd and ask basic questions to the man/woman on the street. Said answers show the state of the education system in the schools. Like ICDRLAR says; history and learning are distorted by the media, TV Shows and the like. Sad state of affairs.
