Why didn’t Curls get a tree?

Some people take their comics entirely too literally. Kinda kills the spirit in which they were intended.

There are a lot of people who believe that the use of trees in celebration at this time of year pre-dates Christianity by quite a bit.

Decorating trees was a Yule tradition and also crops up in diverse cultures dating back millennia BC… Tho’ the fairy lights and baubles may post-date AD by a couple of millennia too ;)

I don’t see a tree anywhere in sight. No wonder he couldn’t get one.
