Interesting name, “Devon Kendall”. I think I knew Kendall Devon in grade school. Might be Devon’s Mirror Grandpa.

    Hmm……14 assists doesn’t make him seem like a ball hog….but 45 points……

In addition, if you took a cross section of high school students, some look like they should be in middle school and some look like they should be in college.

the only other similarity is they’re both cartoon characters, other than that Nate’s gonna get smoked.

JP1579: Just out of curiosity, does “unicorn” in comics jargon mean the same or similar to “unicorn trouble” in role-playing game jargon: when the players know more about how something works than the referee? (There is also a “reverse unicorn trouble”.) Thus referring to the reader versus the cartoonist.

In my games, the highest score any team gets is 30 points. One player making 45 per GAME? He really is good.

That is usually the way it is with phenoms. They are usually bigger, stronger, and faster than any of the other children. That is why they stand out. It isn’t until later on in life that the “work ethic” comes into play. You can have all the God given talent in the world and if you’re a lazy slob it won’t do you much good. Jerry Rice is the best of all time not because of his talent, which was considerable, but because of his work ethic, which was stupendous.
