Dill is a youthful existentialist-to-be. His toy is his toy is his toy. And they are alone in the universe. Unless you count Alice. And other folks. And other stuff….

Apparently Dill didn’t really WANT it . . . he simply felt sorry for it.What a guy!Like Marg said: ’Perfect toy for Dill"One-of-a-kind toy for a one-of-a-kind kid.

Reminds me of a joke from the old Dick Van Dyke Show. Howard Morris played an art dealer appraising some stuff Rob & Laura bought at an auction, and when they showed him this weird, unidentifiable object that they called “the thing,” he said,“My grandmother had one of those, she called it a Zatz.”“But what is a Zatz?”“How do you say it in English? Ahh yes, A Thing.”Dill’s toy is truly a Zatz.

And that, boys and girls, is the perfect description of a “collector’s item”
