Last time I gave blood it was on a bus in the Comfort Inn parking lot because “paying customers” had already booked both the Buchanan and Eisenhower conference rooms. The damn thing nearly tipped over.
77 pints and counting. The Blood Bank Medical Director, My Primary Care Doc. and now my Cardiologist all say donating is ok for me. Times and rules keep changing. The best gift is an annoynomus gift.

I gave for years, but once you’ve had Blood Cancer they don’t want you anymore.

over 15 gallons in while in Iowa, Almost a gallon here. Small potatoes compared to some who have given over 60 gallons. The Gift of Life! :-)

Whenever you do something, you should always give it 100%. Except when you’re giving blood. More than ten gallons here.
