The Jets are a terrible team with terrible coaches and bad receivers who make ANY QB look bad.

Tebow is a winner. He will find a way to win in the NFL. He already did that, at the Broncos.

Then when he’s done with the NFL, he’ll be successful too in whatever he does.

Unless you have something better to reveal, it seems to me Tim Tebow has done much better than you.

Tebow was a mixed bag at the Broncos, famous mostly for his public praying. But apparently, God really doesn’t use prayer to decide football victories.

I have mixed feeling about Tebow. He definitely did not warrant the celebrity he started his career with, and much of the press focused on his religious views (those never bothered me – how many baseball players cross themselves before entering the batters’ box?). But once the press gets hold of something, they can’t seem to let go. He should have been picked up as a backup quarterback and given a few downs to run in the fourth quarter as necessary – I don’t think he was ready to carry an NFL team himself yet. A quarterback matures more when he can get a feel for his own offense over a few seasons, so bouncing him around like this is essentially shortening his career. Perhaps the Montreal Allouettes can work him into shape in the next few years (if he does the smart thing and accepts their offer) and you’ll see a more consistent performance from him around 2016.

Tim Tebow is simply not a good QB at the NFL level. He benefited in Denver from a good defense, a weak schedule, and a lot of luck..And before anyone claims that he’s being persecuted because of his religion, Reggie White was just as openly religious, and anyone who claimed that HE wasn’t very good would have been laughed out of the discussion. This has nothing to do with Tebow’s faith. It has everything to do with the fact that his aim is sufficiently poor to ensure that he’s never peeing in my house, and the fact that he doesn’t have as much pocket awareness as my three-year-old niece.

If he couldn’t beat Mark Sanchez out of a job, he has absolutely no future in the NFL.

“I’d tell you, but it has no bearing on toon or posts.”

    I didn’t think you did. You’ve confirmed I’m correct.
