(Grand)kids say the darndest things.

Nelson got it wrong again.

I’ll never look at my good shoes without laughing, now.

That reminds me that I needs some new shoes for this new dress; maybe a new handbag, too.

A grandson addresses his grandparents as “You guys”?

I get in the same confusion with my students by using the term “dress pants.” Some think I mean culottes! LOL

Let’s keep Grandpa’s little secret just between us, shall we?

It’s like we try to confuse our children.

Reminds me of the first time a Texan friend called my new boots “dancin’ boots.” When I remarked that I don’t dance, he clarified that “dancin’ boots” refers to your newest (and usually your best) pair of boots.

so, who’s gonna be watching the kid? The dog?

Only on Halloween…

I called them “Sunday shoes” when my boys were still at home.

coolest thing about this one: They’re WALKING to go shopping. That’s cool.
