Ahhhhhh…she’s adorable! She doesn’t understand how she could hurt the hamster. She needs a substitute stuffed hamster to practice how to handle them.

Since the hamster is a guest, and does not belong to the family, Lizzie should not be allowed to play with it anyway.

And think how bad Lizzie would feel if she even accidentally caused the hamster any harm.

That’s sweet, but Lizzie doesn’t understand that a big hug could hurt that hamster. The hamsters is Not Edger.

My baby sister had a hamster. I’ll never forget what she said one day with a huge smile: “If I squeeze him real hard his eyes bulge!”

Lizzie should not be allowed to touch a living animal until she can speak in coherent sentences (which appears to be the eigth day of NEVER).

Little girls + big hugs = dead hamsters.

Lizzie won’t mean to but she could accidentally kill Humphrey all the same. It would be for the best to NOT let her touch him, no matter how much she begs, cries and screams. Better to have an unhappy child than a dead hamster. Lizzie will get over being told “No” . . . Humphrey will not get over being dead.

Hamster eyes always bulge unless they’re asleep.I just bought one today. The pet store person stated she bites and tends to be grumpy. She’s just sleeping in her cage right now.
