Poor Humphrey. Take him to the vet to be checked out for food poisoning.

I guess he wouldn’t have gone to Farley’s dish since they aren’t carnivores.

Female hamsters will kill their husbands, if they’re put together on the days she isn’t in heat! They have to be kept alone except when the babies are very young, when they are tolerated by Mum – but not for long.

Susan, no one in their right mind would spank a toddler for making a mealtime mess. That’s the nature of the beast, and you keep plenty of napkins and wet wipes handy at all times.

@JanCinVI think Susan just has a hate on for Elly as usual.

They need a drip catch tray to go on the floor wherever Lizzy dines.

Something plastic — like a shower curtain liner, for instance — under a child’s highchair helps make mealtime spillage a lot easier to clean up, too. Just pick the whole thing up, carry it to the sink and sponge it clean!

How about a twister mat. I remember someone on a BB used a big twister mat to cover the floor when she threw a small birthday party full of toddlers, to catch any dropped cake and ice cream. Just roll it up afterwards, take it outside and hose it down.

Susan, You really need to stop projecting your feelings about your mother onto Ellie. I understand that you had a really bad childhood and I do have sympathy for you on that issue. No one should mistreat a child. But Ellie is not anywhere near as bad as you are always carping about her being. She’s human, she makes mistakes, and yes, sometimes she reacts poorly to things her kids do. But that’s part of being human.
