I went into the library on my campus because they had the quietest and cleanest bathrooms.

I think I also checked out a book from there. Once.

When I was in college a lot of students went to the library to sleep in the downstairs lobby. Their dorms were too noisy at night to sleep.

Been there, done that. “Parcival” makes a great pillow! After lunch it’s just impossible not to fall asleep reading, so you might as well give in to it.

What a sad strip.

When I went to our main public library for research from class, there was a man who actually fell asleep and security guard woke him up told him he could not sleep there in the chair. Whispering talk at times too loud.

Interesting that in the US, we still say “college” rather than university, even though almost all of our former colleges have reorganized themselves into universities.

John has never checked out a book from the library to read? He’s never taken his kids there to check out books for them? Pathetic.

I definitely remember it being too loud in my dorm to sleep,I didnt think of trying the library!!good idea
