I love this one. Sodakota is a great name for a vlog, the red bar progresses as time goes on, the smug look on her face as she shows off her stuff, the unicorn poster in bright colors showing whats on her mind, the gray sky symbolizing how dreary her life is in contrast to the bright colors, the prospective of Phoebe watching the thing on the lap top, her reaction,Marigold’s answer, Dakota’s change in expression as she thinks of unicorns, Its all perfect. Some times I feel torn between wanting a strip with Phoebe being the only unicorn owner and wanting to see Dakota and/or Max get magical best friends. Both ideas sound cool an Im not sure what one would be better.

She has all that glitter and no equine companion to apply it too. What a total waste.Remember Dakota, you don’t get what you want, you get what you deserve.

It may be beside the point, but I like that the sky outside is gray rather than the generic light blue that too many comics/cartoons just seem to throw on there. Not every day is sunny, and not even every sunny day is the same, either. Things that hint at a specific kind of day or atmosphere, even in broad strokes like a simple gray via the Paintbucket tool, always catch my eyes. Gray skies with pine trees are also kinda a small reminder of the author’s Pacific Northwest roots.
