My cable provider called wanting me to add TV to my account. I only have high speed Internet. When I told the gal I don’t watch TV but read instead, she couldn’t believe that I wouldn’t want access to ‘hundreds of channels’. I think television is one of the worst inventions ever. Smart phones are a close second.
I agree just seeing previews is too much. I will not watch it. Also I do not know the channel it’s on nor do I want to know the channel so do not give it be waste of viewing time.
Fifteen years of reality TV have helped turn television into a wasteland that even the TV of earlier generations couldn’t have imagined, though of course it was called a wasteland even then. I cancelled the satellite recently, after having spent most of the last two years on extended “vacation” disconnect; it hasn’t been missed much.

Only a person like Andy can find watching static on TV amusing…

It’s incredible the number of mindless shows there are on cable these days.

And none of those irritating banner ads along the bottom, trying to grab your attention away from the show you’re trying to watch.

The Internet is getting as bad. It’s even on YouTube. You pay for something then they tell you they need commercials to pay for it.

Drug of a nation. Breeding ignorance and feeding radiation. Turn it off and go live a life.
