Trying to kiss his … er trying to butter him up CB? Yes, I can hear the wa wa waah. It’s probably getting a little louder and sterner by now. I think PTAs still exist out here in the ‘desolate boonies’ (conservative rural areas).
The PTA is mostly a fund raiser now to fill in where people that don’t want to pa taxes to support the school. Mostly done by the teachers becaues it’s hard to find concerned parents anymore.
Our principal would scream at the cowering child that he was going to send him to reform school. He was a towering menace behind his desk and I was a weeping mess before him. This was for any infraction.
I remember my days in the P.T.O. (Parent Teachers Organization) and then the P.T.A. I had the time of my life. I hope Charlie Brown’s parents belong to the P.T.A. like Mr. and Mrs. Van Pelt do.
Charlie is talking to the principal like that to keep the terror down I thought..what’s wrong with asking the principal how he or she and the P.TA. are getting along?…it’s good that Charlie has never been in the principal’s office before huh?..shows he’s a good kid huh????..I think I know how this ends Charlie apologizes to the teacher and spells the word the right way sorry to be a spoiler

I’m not a liberal socialist, but are you advocating NOT educating little kids?

Is that a drop of sweat running from Charlie Brown’s forehead in the last panel?
Charlie Brown is making SMALL talk while ahead they MIGHT be BIG trouble.
But I hope there isn’t…

@Snoopy_Fan
LOL… That’s me a few days ago where I was just messing about taking photos.
I also liked the tribute messages to Charles Schulz yesterday too. I don’t know as much about him than I do of Reg Smythe (Creator of Andy Capp).
But they were both legends and will be remembered always and forever.
Thank you for the compliment!

Ha—love the “wa-wa-wa-wa” sound effect from this T.V. cartoon. Makes me smile whenever I hear it or think about it.
