Okay I really did LoL, or at least snerk. And it has a lot of do with having had my cat on my lap when the hubby started vacuming.

Forget blender. Can opener is a bad appliance to run when a cat is in a lap. (Yeah, I know that most cat food cans are pop top cans now, but you get my drift.)

My cat, Jani, plays ninja. She will hide behind sofa, bed or a door then leap out and tag my leg as she scampers away to set up another ambuscade.

I have the scars to prove this validity.

My brother and his wife have a dog who looks like Satchel. It is a lab and Sharpee mix (like Satchel) except a lot smaller (the vet thinks its a dwarf in terms of dogs) and is a girl.

Among men, this is known as the punctured scrotum syndrome. It’s not that painful but quite gory.

Siamese were actually trained as guard cats. They were trained to sit above the door to the home they were guarding and when an intruder entered to jump on their backs and dig in their claws(remember this was Siam which is very hot and humid so most people did not even wear shirts

A cat will eat you when you die. So will a dog but the dog will at least wait until it has eaten everything else that is edible.

I agree that cats are ninjas. Also, you don’t want to be holding a cat when it gets scared. Ouch!

When I was younger, there was a Siamese cat (named Sebastian) that lived down the block. Somehow, my siblings and I decided that Sebastian was a kitty drug dealer, so anytime our cats started acting strange or chasing shadows, we would say that they’d been “getting the trash from that dealer-cat.”

Actually, the thing about guard siamese cats is true, they would perch them on posts and the would jump intruders and actually take them to the ground, because of the height the leaped from, and would scratch at their eyes and face,
