Scarily accurate strip. When you use anti-bacterial products, the kitchen becomes a bioterrorism lab with Mom as the bioterrorist. There is no better way to grow resistant bacteria than repeatedly killing off all but the most resistant, whether you do it with anti-bacterial soap or chronic over use of antibiotics. .And if you think that 0.1 percent guy is bad, wait and see what you get after he reproduces and you knock off the weakest of that group. And the weakest of that cohort. .They can’t build up a resistance to soap and water, vinegar, or even bleach. Those wash away and kill without regard to resistance.

Spoken like a true microbiologist. Antibacterial soap is evil!

Good summary of evolution and why we have bacteria that now laugh at most antibiotics.
