Cathy Classics by Cathy Guisewite for December 30, 1993
Transcript:
Mom: For a few precious days a year, it's as though you still really live here with us, Cathy... Then I see clothes I don't recognize go into a suitcase I didn't buy and I know you're going back to a life filled with people I don't know and places I've never been, and it hits me all over again that it will never be the way it was, and that the happiest time of our life is over forever... Cathy: I'll call every day, Mom! I'll visit every week! I'll write letters and I'll spend my whole summer vacation with you! Mom: Hit them with the pledge drive while the docudrama is still fresh.
