Speaking of pancakes, I’m hungry now.

I have a nice flat thin pillow like Earls and I love it ! I can’t imagine sleeping very well on a pillow like Opals …

I bought a feather pillow years ago. Took half the feathers out and it’s just right! So comfortable I always take it with me on trips.

Wonder what happened to the Sunday strip. It ain’t here.

Falling asleep on actual pancakes must be a sticky situation for Earl.

A few years ago “fashion” invaded the pillow market where I live. Instead of individual pillows they were selling “bolsters” for double beds—a long single pillow. But they were made of inferior materials that soon mashed down, got lumpy, etc. I bought 2 single-bed pillows. When the sales person found out I wanted them for a double bed she almost had a conniption. When I told her I cut the “bolster” slips in half and stitched them to make 2 single pillowslips, she nearly had a stroke. I may not know what’s “in” but I know what I like.

Sleep on actual pancakes, Earl must get tired of being “Battered” around by Opal.

Agree to disagree about pillows. And mountainvalleyboy, I never travel by air or car without 2 of my trusted pillows. Since I sleep with 3, it’s a concession.

no woman would ever buy just one pillow. When you made the bed, it wouldn’t like right. It would drive me crazy.

A pillow that fluffs up nice and plumb when you make the bed is one thing — but since I don’t read or watch TV in bed, I prefer a flat one for sleeping.

I don’t buy this strip for a second. No woman alive would pass up the chance to buy yet another pillow to put on the bed. (Seriously, you should see my daughter’s bed — it has so many pillows on it that they almost completely cover it.)

Was Earl just at the restaurant in today’s Cul de Sac? Because there’s syrup in his mustache.

I think Opal’s jealous of the pancakes

This hit way to close to home. I actually did this at an IHOP many years ago after 2 days of constant partying.

I prefer a somewhat flat pillow too. It can’t be too flat or too thick or I wake up with a daylong stiff neck. I too take my pillow everywhere and when I forget I suffer.

I have never found a pillow I couldn’t pancake in a couple of months.

I have two Temperpedic expensive pillows I’d like to sell for half price to someone who wants to sleep with their head at right angles to their body.

I hate it when you got to hotels and the pillows are flat. It takes two or three to make it halfway decent.

I’ve stuck two flat pillows into one pillow case before.

I agree with tcreole, but for a different reason. No woman would want a lopsided bed when its made! That was my first though when I saw the comic today. She wouldn’t let one side be high and one low.

No woman would allow lopsided pillows on the bed. At least I wouldn’t!
