Spitting antelope dung is a sport? I would have thought it was a punishment or a psychiatric ward possibility once you were suitably psyched.

Just think that you get to keep your old credit cards. Sure I would destroy mine when it expired. Melted down and taken to those people that buy old gold.

Would love to see a Paul Harvey “Rest of the Story” on the dung spiting. How did they come up with it ?

From what I could learn, the bubble wrap was never actually sold as wallpaper, but was originally developed to be a three-dimensional wall-paper. The idea didn’t go over so hot but the developers realized it made great packaging material the rest is history.

Bubble was markteded as wallpaper. When that failed it was marketed it as greenhouse insulation. It was first used as packing by IBM. Now you know the story.

As I recall, the spirit of the Russian Revolution was that everyone was supposed to be equal. Then, shouldn’t all have the gold card?

What’s with the annoying pop-up? I have only a limited time on the internet and have to wade through that?Pop-ups were the reason I dropped watching Seattle PI.

A similar story on Clippard. They used to make coils for radios. The machinery to wind coils worked best with small air cylinders. However, the big names in air cyclinders at the time only made large ones. So, they machined their own. When word got around, other companies asked them to make some for them.Eventually, they said to H—- with coils, we’ll make and sell miniature air cylinders!!!!

Bubblewrap was once sold in toy stores for kids to sit and pop the bubbles. That’s fun to do!

Bubble wrap is actually used as wallpaper in the movie “Serenity” — look for it early on, in the medical lab where River Tam is being worked on.
