Creative Corner Express Yourself
Quite creative, indeed.
That painting looks like the Baroque Out style.
It does say express yourself. It just doesn’t say how.
Lioscuro…
Reminds me of Harold and his purple crayon,
How better to expesss onesself than an homage to “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”.
So that’s what my wife means when she says her art is an escape.
Fascinating. The magical art of Lio opens a window on our world (or, at any rate, his world)! Magical Realism at its realist!
Pile on many more layers, and I’ll be joining you there…
Art is truth, and the truth is, I’d like to go now. ;-)
Don’t you usually need a coyote to do the artwork for that gag to work?
Reminds me of Escher…
This, to me, is a great strip. Easily the best one in our local paper (Wash. Post). Bravo for gentle, surreal humor!
Darn it, Lio, don’t just leave your paint on the floor.
Talk about “Realistic” painting!!
Ok, I’ve heard of comics breaking the fourth wall, but what would you call this? Breaking the 0th wall? Anyway, whatever you call it, amazing, thanks!
i dunno, but in the last panel, is he nekid..?(talk about expressing yourself..)
Great one Lio.
why would you name yourself ‘Radish’
ah, the old Daffy Duck escape hatch
I wished I could draw my own world and escape into it. I would never come back.
Lio is a little Jughead Jones with his Dipsy Doodle.
I like it!
Almost like “Through the Looking Glass”.
Jughead does this in the Archie comics, hehe.
