Man: Women don't take Valentine's Day seriously any more, do you?? Cathy: Oh, no! The heavy romantic pressure is off! Man: Thank heavens! Cathy: It's been replaced by the humorous romantic pressure. Now Valentines have to be heartfelt and fun... romantic and light... sentimental and silly... a delicate, perfect balance of pure love and utter whimsy. Man: Why can't women take Valentine's Day seriously anymore?

Comic related, Cathy looks nice today. And the guy in the first panel is rolling his eyes… love it!Hello lovely Cathy family! I’m still working on the doctor. I found a great general doctor, but unfortunately she can’t help me on this issue. So I made a general checkup with her and I’m still working on the neurologist. Geez, what a pain!

Glad to hear you are working on it lightenup. And good luck, I haven’t met a neurologist I liked yet. They are a different breed I think. lol

Really sorry to hear about your MS but happy for you that you were not seriously affected by it for so long. Your looking for a neurologist reminded me of KFG – who we also have not heard from – but for known happier reasons. I also fully understand why you hang out here. The past month has been very difficult for me and reading comments from the fine people here has helped me calm down and deal with reality. It is like hanging out in the eye of a storm. You are so lucky to be able to search for a doctor. We are so short of doctors here that if you have a family doctor that is the only person you can see unless they refer you to a specialist (usually from out of town or requiring travel since there are not any here). If it is an emergency or you do not have a family doctor then your only choice it to visit the hospital emergency room and, if it is not a life and death emergency, be prepared to wait hours as they do triage arriving patients. Ah well, we are lucky enough to have one of the better doctors in the area as a family doctor and if you plead, sorry, explain your problem, to his nurse then you can usually get an appointment in about 3 weeks. This is the one downside of our public health care system. In an effort to reduce costs, the provincial government, several years ago, limited the number of students entering into university in the medical field. Now we are paying the price. Of course, if we lived in Toronto, where all the professionals seem to want to live, then it would be easier to get the help you need. But I prefer small town living so, I get to pay the price. Sorry for the long post – got carried away tonight.

Hi Cathyites!! Re the comic — Why can’t men decide what they want (should we take it seriously or not :)Sorry you have such a hard time getting medical care hendelca. It can be pretty trying in the US sometimes too — especially in rural areas.

And, once again, the trusty [eye-roll] should do it.
@lightenupSpeaking of which … good catch on the eye-roll in the first panel. I never would’ve noticed that.
