Good morning all. You are right again lightenup. Pretty simple. The hard part is understanding WHY a person chooses to overeat. There are very many reasons and everyone is different.

That part is not hard to understand AT ALL. It’s because food tastes good! And the worse it is for you, the better it tastes. Also, as simple as it is to eat less and move more, it’s not easy.

We’re once again on our yearly Slim-Fast diet right now. Works pretty good while we’re on it — not so much once we go off it though (old eating patterns seem to start up once again when we do). O-Kay is right: good-for-you-food = bad tasting . . . bad-for-you-food = GREAT tasting! Not to mention mostly sedentary lifestyles don’t help when it comes to burning off the calories either.

Hi Cathyites!! I walk 3 miles almost every day, go to ballet 1-2 times/week & do ballet exercises the other days, eat mostly veggies & fruit and I still gain weight if I don’t stick to the weight watchers plan.
