Um no, not really. But it does make for a good comic!Good morning, Cathy clan! A sleepover at the zoo tonight with my Girl Scout troop. Should be interesting… (Is it inappropriate if I threaten to feed them to the lions if they don’t behave? ;-))

Cathy’s mom: a wannabe psychologist. If she ever did broaden her horizons, I wonder if Cathy would be jealous!TGIF, Cathy Clan.

When I was a kid, both my parents worked in factory jobs so they didn’t have easy, convenient access to phones. If my sister or I ever had to talk to them for any reason, someone in the office had to go hunt them down and pull them off the assembly line to answer our call, something the supervisor(s) didn’t much like. So unless it was an absolute emergency — and by that, someone had to be dead (or dying) — we weren’t permitted to call them at work. Otherwise, they could get into trouble for a non-essential personal call and then WE’D get in trouble when they got home . . . and with my dad’s short temper, that was something to be avoided at ALL cost!

    Hi, rgcviper!

lightenup: A sleepover at the zoo. What fun!!! And by all means, you’ve gotta use whatever weapon you have in your arsenal in order to make troublesome children behave themselves when they’re acting worse than the actual animals themselves are!!!!! ;-)

Happy Friday, “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone had a really great day today!

Well, it makes them both worthy of yet another [eye-roll], I’d say.

    HI, MOM. Happy Friday, Clan.
