So Irving’s even more neurotic than Cathy I see. Perfect couple.

This happens to me all the time. Hubby is always asking why my purse is so heavy, yet he’s always saying, “put this in your purse” lol

Mine is trained to wear a small rucksack. And he’s always happy to add my bits and pieces to his bag. (There are some things I never see again . . .)

My husband only has two pairs of glasses (a pair he wears all the time, and an old spare pair to help him get by until he can get his regular ones fixed/repaired if something should happen to them), and they automatically darken when he goes out in the sun, then returns to normal once he goes back inside again. Meanwhile, it’s a rare day he has me carry anything of his in my purse. 99.99999999% of the time, if it doesn’t fit comfortably in his pants pockets, he just doesn’t take it with him. And why should he? I carry pretty everything but the kitchen sink in my purse anyhow (because I like to be prepared for ANYTHING) so if there’s something he needs while we’re out, chances are, I’ve already got it right there with me for him to use!!!!! ;-)

    Hi, rgcviper!

The only things I ever ask my wife to carry are a book and my reading glasses and only when we fly. My carry-on goes in the overhead bins where it is hard to reach and she like to keep hers under the seat since she accesses it quite often. Still, I get ‘the look’ when I ask.

A beautiful weekend this was. My uncle and oldest cousin visited Dad for Friday night (we see them once every few years). Lots of fun listening to Dad and his brother tell stories from their youth (Dad is 94 and his brother is 96). Saturday was the Celebration of Life for my close friend who died in January. It was a great reunion – talked to a lot of people I have not seen in decades. I cried when his three daughters gave short talks about their Dad but other than that, was very happy. Today was help Dad plant his garden day. I still have to rest often but we did get all the potatoes in and transplanted about half the corn. I hope the rest of the Clan enjoyed this weekend as well as I did.
