Cathy’s dress color has changed. Do they think we wouldn’t notice?

It seems Cathy’s finally learned over the years to bring 14 changes of clothes wherever she goes so that she’ll have the “right” outfit for the occasion…L

Sadly, this is probably an accurate portrayal of a HS reunion. Some of us go there thinking that everyone has matured and moved on from HS, but the reality is that everyone is still deluding themselves into thinking they’re better than they really are and better than everyone else. The only difference is that you’re not supposed to be yelling it, Irving (and other dude)!p.s. “I have abs of steel under this gut!” LOL!!!!!!!!Hello Cathy clan! Happy Monday! There were no tears yesterday (mom or girl) when dropping Jr off at camp yesterday, so that was good. Now I just miss her, although I’m really excited for her because I know this is an adventure for her and big memories are being made! Tomorrow they’ll post some pictures online, so I’m looking forward to those. :-)

Back from vacation and catching up — this is the first I’ve seen of the “new” and “improved?” Irving. OMG — it is now I who need the brain bleach. What a shocker to come back to.

Sorry I missed Lil’s birthday last week — hope she had lots of fun!!

Glad you remembered Dr. Billy’s birthday Mom — those guys were special!!

As for reunions, I have always had fun at mine — and I ignore those who flash in and try to impress. One of the sweetest moments was when one of the guys who is now a farmer showed up after 40 years and wondered why anyone wanted to see him again — he was JUST a farmer. We all LOVED him in HS and now we kinda know why. We have them every 5 years and most of the planners are friends from grade school, so it’s lots of fun to reminisce. These days, these are the only folks that remember me when I was a little kid.

Speaking of “flash”, lindz …

I was gonna say that we should be fine as long as Irving doesn’t try to flash the reunion to show off his abs. Ugh … brain bleach—pronto!
