I got a message where the caller was so into his message,he forgot to leave his number. And he never followed up!

It seems like every vendor or supplier that called me would do that. I wished our phones had a caller ID that kept track of incoming phone numbers so I wouldn’t have to waste so much time replaying messages.

I’ve had this frustration before. Caller ID does help, but sometimes I still need the number. And even then, the person leaving the message goes too fast. Drives me nuts. :-)Good morning, Cathy clan!

    Technology’s great, ain’t it?

And … four sayings of “AACK” in one strip—is that a record?

HI, MOM. Happy Sunday, “Cathy” Clan.

That happens all the time on my voice mail at work. People will leave a very long message about a hearing aid not working then not leave a name (or just a first name…John who?) or say the call back number so fast I can’t catch it. The number they called FROM appears on the caller ID, but it isn’t always the number they want me to call.

There are so many people who just rattle off their phone number so quickly, it’s hard to get it down without listening to the message twice. Frustrating.

Me too!! I never answer the phone. But this was before your phone had to tell you what day it is, the date, the time, and give you a complete weather forecast, before you could even get to the message, let alone the phone number. Oh, yeah, and all of the above are usually wrong.
