Saleswoman: That wil be 4150. Cathy: Thanks! I feel better! To calm fears about the crumbling economy, a nice fresh box of rollerball pens. To ease anziety about job stability, a brand new set of file folders. To restore a sense of personal power, a multi-oack of sticky notes...stacking basket set...document shredder...and 12,000 rubber bands. Therapy, 2003: An hour in the office supply superstore.

Not really. As Cathy Guisewite once explained, the reason she was always the same woman is that that was the only way that Cathy could draw a female sales clerk.

Oh it’s so tempting to buy all of those organizing products and office supplies. They make me feel so inspired… at least for a little while. :-)Good morning, Cathy clan!

The only “retail therapy” that I enjoy doing are the buying of books and cross stitch, both of which feed my two favorite hobbies in life. According to my husband, if I never bought another single thing of either one ever again from this day forward, I’d still have more than enough of both to take care of me for the whole rest of my life. HA! HA!! HA!!! That’s absolutely hysterical. As if!!!!!!!!!! ;-)
Hi, rgcviper!
legaleagle48: Just my opinion, of course, but it seems like C. G. could have at least mixed things up a little bit by giving them red, blonde, or brown hair, simply to distinguish one store’s saleslady from another.
Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow “Cathy” fans. We woke up to a real Winter Wonderland this morning — at least 2-1/2 inches fell overnight [in some areas of our yard, it’s way deeper than that due to drifting snow]. So how’s everyone else’s day going so far?

[Sigh] Not to be too predictable, but the [eye-roll] should cover things again. And that’s exactly why I love this strip.
Related to panel 3, I found this story online today and thought some of the pics were a lot of fun.
HI, MOM. Hope you’re staying warm, “Cathy” Clan.
