Cathy: I went through a whole box of hanging files this morning, and now I have to have more! Charlene: I love those, too! Once I start I can't stop! Cathy: And gel pens! I tried all the creamy pastels, and now I want to try the hot ones!! Charlene: With sparkles! Sparkly metallics are the best! Cathy: At lunch I'm indulging in a giant carton of manila envelopes, a siz pack of packing tape and if I have room, a jumbo roll of bubble wrap! Charlene: Yes! Mr. Pinkley: Must women turn everything into food?? Man: Can't talk. Suddenly I'm craving a 3-ring binder!

I don’t see that they’re turning this into something about food, but okay. I still think it’s (sometimes) fun to get new office supplies.Hello Cathy clan!

I used to live just around the corner from a shop that had frequent sales of stationery – A4 paper, bundled pens, reporter’s notebooks, lovely A4 binders in glowing colours – and I’m afraid I was a bit of a stationery junkie. Even though I hadn’t run out of paper, I would buy some just in case, while it was reduced in price . . .
That was thirty years ago now. And some of those pads of paper are still new and untouched! I may not ever have to buy paper again in my lifetime. You see – there’s always a bonus.

Can’t say as I’ve ever gotten excited over office stationary but you should see me every time I enter a bookstore or score a great deal on a cross stitch kit I’ve been coveting for the longest time. I’m absolutely, positively in utter HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!! ;-)

For me it’s yarn — my husband installed cabinets with glass doors, so I now have a whole wall of pretty yarns.
