Saleswoman: Full skirts...prim belts...it's the 1950's housewife! Harken back to the time with a cheerful woman stood in the doorway waiting to fuss over her tired, hungry husband at the end of his busy, busy day! With, of course, a contemporary twist... Cathy: I hope you ordered carry-out on the way home, dear! I just spent my salary on one sleeve of a new dress!

I had a near fatal accident . Being a former Naval Officer and DoD auditor, I had everything plan well for my beloved wife. No. I did not. Yes, all the bills would have automatically , but income was going to wrong account.
Don’t want leave mess like my father. He didn’t think he was going to die.

That’s a dress? It looks like a bathrobe.

Actually, that dress looks pretty good on Cathy, but I can understand why she’d roll her eyes at the sales clerk’s concept. I mean, seriously? June Cleaver went out with the 1950s, and she’s NEVER coming back!

Looks more like a housecoat than a dress.

I like the dress.

I actually kind of like the dress although it’s certainly something that I don’t think June Cleaver ever would have worn. Yes, she wore stripes and checks as well as solid-colored dresses but I don’t recall a time — even in black and white — ever seeing her wear something that made me think, “OMG! That thing looks so loud, I’m sure glad this episode wasn’t filmed in color!!!”
